Club notes 10-02-10

Challenge Game   On Sunday last our first team played their first match of the year taking on Ardagh. The game was played in Ardagh. While we were short a few lads for various reasons it was a good workout for those there. The Gortletteragh team lined out as follows; Colm Canning, Mark Mitchell, James Campbell, Eamon Reynolds, Colm Duffy, Mark Duignan, Cathal Mc Crann, Darren Duignan, Dermot Kennedy, Darren Mc Grath, Conor Reynolds, Michael Dorrigan, Sean Costello. Subs; Ciaran Egan, Aaron Canning. Training continues for all adult players on Tuesday¦s at 8pm and Friday¦s at 8:30pm.  Club Draw Tickets are still on sale for our new club draw. As we are waiting on tickets to come back from sellers we have decided to postpone our draw and hold both the January and February draw on Saturday the 27th February. From March onwards the monthly draw will take place on the last saturday of each month.With a lot of the parish not covered we will have ticket sellers calling to most houses in the parish in the next two weeks and we are appealing for your support.Ç20 enters you in the draw for 4 months or Ç50 covers you for the year and with Ç400 in prizes each month its something to look foward to .   Missing Jerseys It has come to our attention that we are missing 3 jerseys from our main set. The numbers missing are 4, 5 and 8. These jerseys are out there somewhere and the club would ask that they be returned to any club official.    Underage Presentation On Saturday evening next our victorious underage players will be presented with there medals at boys under 14 and our girls at under 12. The presentation will commence at 8pm in the Welcome in Cornageeha followed by a disco from 8 to 10pm. All are welcome to attend.
