Congrats
The club would like to take this opportunity to congratulate
Emma Reilly who won a national Basketball cup final medal with
DCU mercy on Sunday last. The game was televised live on RTE 2
from the national basketball arena in Tallaght. They defeated
Glanmire from Cork in a cracking game by 13 points. It’s great
to see our club and parish on the map once again. Well done Emma
from all your club mates and friends. Another parish connection
on the team was Christine Newton whose father is a first cousin
of Shane Heslin. Well done to the girls.
Deepest Sympathy
The club would like to extend its deepest sympathy to Michelle
and Seamus Mc Govern of Cattan on the sad passing of Michelle’s
mother Mrs. Kathleen Dowling R.I.P. who passed away last week.
Also to the Molly family of Bohey on the sad passing of Michael
Molloy R.I.P. on Sunday evening last.
Club Membership
The club membership is now up for renewal. It is now EUR30 for
players and EUR20 for non players and supporters.Membership can
be paid to Kevin Masterson.
Club draw
Tickets for our new club draw are currently on sale. They cost
EUR50 for a yearly ticket and EUR20 for 4 months. Tickets can be purchased
off any club member. All those with tickets are asked to hand
them in by this Friday 5th February.
