Ladies notes 25-01-10

Gortletteragh Ladies GAA   AGM: We held our Annual General Meeting on Saturday evening last where there was a new top table elected. The following officers elected were: Chairperson: Samantha Harte, Vice Chairperson: Fiona McCann. Secretary: Michelle Duffy, Vice: Niamh Kennedy. Treasurer: Una Quinn. PRO: Caroline Quinn, Development Officer; Aine Bohan. Registrar: Caroline Quinn. Childrens Officer: Angela McCann.   The following people agreed to train the following teams for the year: U12’s~ Samantha Harte & Michelle Duffy (Competition starts June 2010) U14’s ~ Michelle Duffy, Aine Bohan & Samantha Harte ( Competition Starts early April 2010) U16’~ Caroline Quinn, Michelle Duffy & Aine Bohan ( Competition starts end of August) Minors ~ Neil Quinn, Ciaran Egan & Caroline Quinn (Competition starts early September) Junior Managers ~ Neil Quinn, Ciaran Egan & Joe Campbell. (League Starts in April) County Board Fixtures meeting 22nd February @ 8:30 in Drumshanbo.   Training: Training will recommence on the 14th February (Sunday) @ 12:30. Full attendance please. If you can’t make it, can you please text Neil. All players will receive a reminder text message. John Campbell will be coming to our training sessions in the next few weeks to do a fitness test and core exercise. New players are always welcome to join. On this note we would like to welcome Danielle Laurence who has join the Gortletteragh Ladies team.   Junior Ladies Presentation: Our Victories Junior Ladies will be holding their presentation night in the Shannon Key West on 26th February. The team will have a meal at 7:30pm followed by Presentation in the Kilglass Restaurant. DJ Alan Mulligan will entertain us with the Music. All are welcome to join the ladies been presented with their League Medals. A great night is guaranteed.   U12’s Presentation: Our U12’s girls who won the Shield B in September will receive their medals on the 13th February in the Welcome Inn. This will be a joint celebration with the U14 boys. More information closer to date.   Gortletteragh GAA Supporters Draw- Tickets: We handed out tickets on Saturday evening last to all girls who attended meeting. Please try your best to sell them for the Gortletteragh GAA. Yearly ticket is €50 and a 4 months ticket is €20.
